Us and other clubs have been out grooming trails this week. For the most part conditions are fair to good. There are some bare spots in some places. This doesn’t mean you can go out of your way and go off the marked trail to find snow. I don’t want to sound like a broken record, but this is trespassing and it is getting to be a real problem. I hear of more and more clubs are loosing trails. Don’t let this happen to our tails. Stay within the marked trails. Also a reminder, just because we may be crossing a field, doesn’t mean we have the right to use the whole field. The landowners give us permission for only a 12ft wide path, beyond that is considered trespassing. A request to step up enforcement to the DNR and local police has been submitted from many clubs.
